Intro
Hiya! I'm Pear! I'm an 19 year old, Canadian college student with a passion for creativity, technology, knowledge, and
challenges.
I'm currently studying for my diploma in Information
Technology, and networking, and I'm also the official student representative for the trades program at the CNC.
I also love to work on personal projects ranging from this site, to discord bots, and fancy custom
computer setups. I love making things my own, and leaving my mark.

Projects
In the past five years I've started many projects from discord bots, to websites, and more personal
ones like character creation, and creative writing
While they won't all fit here, I can share some links to some more in depth info about each project
My current projects:
CuteBot
CuteBot is a discord bot meant for general fun, and amusement. Originally made as a simple project
for a friend, it quickly gained traction among other communities, and is now in over 150 servers!
I continue to work on, and host CuteBot to this day, and have even added extra features like a cloud
console, user management, options for premium avatars (Also referred to as nitro avatars on
Discord), and a host script that manages errors, logs events, and keeps the bot running 24/7

While still a work in progress, I plan to add user only functionality for people that can't add this
bot to servers.

This site that you're viewing now has been an ongoing project for the past few years (2 if I'm
remembering correctly), and while it started off worse than I'd hoped (I might've been a bit too
ambitious), the current version is something I'm much prouder to show off!
Originally my website (pictured above) was meant to be written fully from scratch, but unfortunately,
it was slow, bulky, and visually unappealing. While I worked on it for about a year, I've recently
decided to retire it in favor of a premade and optimized template that I grabbed from html5up.net.
As a fun extra note, not only was a dissatisfied with the old page, but there were some things about
it that were downright awful! For instance, the page that hosts my social medias, wouldn't load
fully until a custom embed from another site had loaded first. This made navigation extremely
slow.
There's also a link to a snake game that while claiming is an internal page, doesn't have
a way to get back without using the browser history!
While previous iterations of this page had a link to the old site, it was removed on September 7th 2024
for privacy reasons.
Autopilot
Like autopilot, this article is very much under construction. Please expect incomplete information, and changes in the future.
Autopilot is a general purpose bot made originally for my local air cadet squadron to allow us to
better moderate our online meetings during the global pandemic.
Originally I had written autopilot in python, but I wasn't very great at coding at the time, so it
went incomplete for the longest time. It still remains incomplete, but is often my guinnea pig when I want to test out new bot features, or simply try new things.

- I've worked 2 jobs, and have one coming in late september/october during the BC elections
- I've used all 3 mainstream operating systems as daily drivers
- I've written multiple discord bots
- I can code in html, css, js, java, c#, and more if given enough time to learn
